PCOS? Homeopathy may be the answer!

I have been seeing more and more cases of PCOS  (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) in my homeopathic practice over the past few years. Young girls and women in their early reproductive age seem to be affected by this disorder.

What causes it?

Who can be affected and what are the symptoms of this condition?

How can homeopathy help?

  1. What used to be called Stein Leventhal Disease of poly cystic ovary disease is now a syndrome. In medicine that means that there are a number of symptoms that seem to occur together, sometimes without a clear etiology. So, now, at least in the US, GYNs are giving patients this diagnosis despite normal ovaries and hormone levels! Homeopathy is indeed a good option in such cases and taking into account all the symptoms (mental, emotional and physical) is the way to go. Most frequently used remedy in my practice for such cases over the past 27 years is Natrum Muriaticum.

yes even i observe a surge in cases of PCOS usually associated with OBESITY and HYPOTHYROIDISM as a major reason for infertility these days.
many young girls in age of early 20’sand 30’s are found to have these cluster of symptoms.
however the weight loss does make the treatment of PCOS easier.
