Daxa was recently interviewed by \’hpathy\’ the world\’s largest online journal of homeopathy. She was the \”homeopath in the hot seat\” and her work in gynecology and obstetrics was highlighted in this interview. Daxa has had extensive experience in managing children\’s and women\’s health including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, menopause, pregnancy and labor with homeopathy for almost 30 years and this interview starts from the time she had just joined the college and hospital as a teacher.

Yes, allergy season has arrived. However some unlucky ones may suffer through out the year.
What causes these allergies in us? An allergy is a hypersensitive immune response to some foreign protein. These proteins could be things that we have touched, inhaled or even eaten. These allergens- pollen, cat hair, house dust, rag weed, eggs, milk, strawberries, etc. are by themselves harmless substances.

Conceiving with Homeopathy

Last week was celebration time at four different places. Three of my patients reported to me on three consecutive days of the week (a hat trick for me!) that they had conceived after consulting me and starting homeopathy. One patient had been given up by the gynecologists in the US as her Anti-Mullerian Hormone level was very low.

ADHD is a condition involving inattention and hyperactivity. Though it is a condition usually diagnosed in childhood, many adults continue with inattention even in adulthood while hyperactivity tends to reduce with the age. Most ADHD modern medications work by increasing the activity of one or both of two chemicals, dopamine and norepinephrine but have a lot of side effects.

Apart from the physical changes, girls of this age start to think and feel differently. They make close relationships outside the family, with friends of their own age. As they become more independent, they want to try out new things, but often realize that they do not have any experience to sort out their problems when things get out of control. This may produce a variety of emotions – feeling very mature at one time, very young and vulnerable the next.
