Prevent Swine Flu (H1N1)

Proper hygiene is the key to the prevention and spread of swine flu.

  1. Always cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief or a tissue when you sneeze or cough. This will prevent spread by droplet infection.
  2. Do not share your handkerchief and water bottles with others.
  3. Wash your hands thoroughly and regularly, especially after meeting a lot of people.
  4. Wipe the doorknobs and handles, taps and other articles that are used or shared by many individuals with a disinfectant (especially in schools and offices).

If you have the flu, take rest, eat healthy food and drink a lot of water and juices.

If your symptoms of flu worsen, make sure that you get  proper medical attention and have a throat swab taken to confirm the diagnosis of swine flu.
